I resent the fact that you are stereotyping some of us by assuming we would choose either white or yellow "american" cheese. If you actually did your research you would know that American cheese was originally made from leftover trimmings of real cheeses such as Colby and Cheddar, DUH....so in essence cheddar is actually a choice......and "no" I didn't just google that .

However, I can't believe nobody has mentioned the "I love these cheeses because they come with my sandwich and Salads at Panera Bread" such as Asiago, Gouda, and Gorgonzola!!! Yes I know I'm uncultured and had hardly even heard of these cheeses before I started eating there
