Inferno Stolen

Hey, SpongeBlair!

No one thinks you lied. They just asked for the facts, to get the story straight. To take a pin from someone is impossible, so when you use the word "steal" it confused some people. Based on what I've read here, your sis is little and she was tricked into giving the pin to someone. I have contacted VMK about a few different things, and they have ALWAYS settled all of my problems. I would give that a try. Use the "contact us" option on the Vmk Home Page. Good luck!

yes, please contact VMK. They keep logs of conversation and such. They would be able to research the dialog and trade.

I agree contact vmk they take a while to respond but they will get around to it

Then I guess it's "a wait and see what happens" situation. Hang in there.

I'm sorry that this happened. There really isn't anything we can do, except to tell you to contact VMK. I hope VMK will help you out.

Spongeblair, do you know the name of the "thief"s room(s)? I can remember the person's name and if you know his/her room name I can try to find them. If they are giving inferno as a prize, maybe you know the type of game and room name, and that will help me find him. Maybe I can even try to win it and tell him I'm giving it back to it's rightful owner. That is the best help I can offer you, other than reporting him/her, we Dis people can try to find him and tell him he is a mean person for doing that. Maybe then they will learn that tricking kids out of their items will not get them any friends, and that we have a whole community here who will back you up and see that they are unwelcome in anyone's rooms!

Also, I still don't even know what inferno is, but if I ever find a way to get it, I can give it to her if she still does not have one. I am more than willing to work at getting one by trading and give it to her. I hate to see people, especially good and trusting children, get scammed by someone who does not have the true spirit of VMK and Disney in their hearts. I am not confident that I will find an Inferno pin easily, but if someone is willing to trade me one, I will give them anything I have for it and gladly give it to your sister for free. I am putting your name and the name of the thief on my VMK notes and will make that one of my goals!

Thanks All For Posting She Has Now Got Her Inferno Back Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I doubt the person would actually give the inferno magic pin as a prize, as
it's got high trading value on VMK. I think the person might say they will
offer it as a prize but keep it for themselves.

And the only way the "steal" could have happened is someone tricked the
person into doing a bad trade. Those trade windows are there to protect
people. If one person does not like the trade (or feels they're being tricked),
they can close the trade window.

I can only stress the importance of never letting strangers "try on" anything
or tell you to "accept first" before they put in trade items. Those are
obvious cheater actions.

Oh good! It does take a while to get a response from VMK, but more often
than not, I've seen people get positive results.

I'm glad to hear this worked out. Something you might want to think about in the future is having your parents help you with any issues that might come up. I'm a mom and my two kids both play. There has been two times when my son had some technical issues with his account (not trading) and I wrote to VMK on his behalf. Within a week we had the issue(s) resolved.
