Has anyone used the attachment for the city select stroller called the hychair? It makes it so your stroller seat attaches directly to the table, are these allowed in Disney restaurants?
Also open to other suggestions of what to do with our baby during meals besides being in a carrier (where he'll likely get food dropped on him). He's too small with poor head control for a regular highchair. Thanks!!

have not used that one but we have used a different one that attaches to table for young grandson but it would not work for a young child with little head control. not sure how far yours would stick out from table but if it fits where a standard chair fits would think you could use

Way back when the kids were very young we mostly took turns eating and holding the baby. I would doubt Disney allows anything that attaches to their tables, as they could easily scratch them. Or give them liability issues if the chair detached.

We have that hychair thing and I think on most tables, it wouldn't fit due to how its made - it is also pretty heavy and would be a pain to lug around IMO. Some restaurants have infant seats available (they are at a recline - I don't have a list of them but you can look them up) otherwise they may allow you to bring in your stroller. How old is the baby? If you'll be using a stroller w/ a car seat attachement, that would work as well - I have seen a number of car seats being used to carry young babies around.

I can say in all our trips, I've never seen a high chair attached to a Disney table. Our DS was 9 months on his first trip so a normal high chair worked when needed. As previously stated, I believe your only solution will be either an infant carrier or holding him.

We traveled a lot when our kid was an infant. My DH would wear her, and drape a cloth napkin over her head while he ate. Just don't get soup, but you're pretty much ok with everything else. ;)

This past September we were at Disney with a 7 week old. I was surprised by how many places volunteered to let us bring the stroller in (at Crystal Palace it was even a double citi-mini) - the rest of the time it was her single, but still full sized stroller. We brought the stroller into Rainforest Cafe, Crystal Palace, Ohana, Coral Reef, Sci-fi T-Rex, and Hollywood and Vine. Chef Mickeys had an infant high chair where they can lay down, and we laid her down in the booth next to me in the plaza.

The only place that we had to hold her was Beaches n Cream. - I didn't ask to bring the stroller in there or the plaza because of how small they are, bit I was still really surprised as to how many places would offer me to bring the stroller in as soon as we walked up. I had read on the boards that you really can't take them in anywhere, but that def. was not our experience last Sept.

We stayed off site when my dd was 3 months old and much too small for high chairs.

We ate breakfast at the hotel where she sat in her car seat. Then we had lunch at a QS where she was in her stroller. We ate dinner off site (usually carry out) where we would take turns holding her or put her in the bouncer we rented. We did eat at one WDW sit down and we brought in the stroller.

They were always really nice about letting us bring the stroller to the table. Or if ds was awake I just held him.

The problem with depending on a stroller is that you never know if it will be allowed in to the restaurant or not. Sometimes they allow it, sometimes they don't. While that is probably most people's ideal solution, it is always wise to have another plan, just in case.

We went multiple times to many different restaurants at WDW before our baby could sit up. They always let us bring the stroller in. I know it is discretionary, but we never had an issue - even at Beaches and Cream on Xmas day we were allowed to use it.
