Infants and fireworks

Anyone take their 3 month old to see any of the fireworks shows? How did they do? Should I bring ear muffs or anything for her?

Fireworks are quite loud for little ears. When we brought our 1 year old in November/December and had some baby banz for him.

My daughter was 4 months old and I had a pair of Em's 4 Kids for her. She did fine.

We were watching the Star Wars fireworks a couple of weeks ago. A mom, her mother and the infant granddaughter. When the fireworks first started, the baby did okay but, when they kept going and going, you could see her face change and she cried. The grandmother walked away with her. No earmuffs. I was wondering what they were thinking...

We didn't do Disney with an infant but we've done professional fireworks that are equally as loud. It never bothered DGD
But she is not noise sensitive. Some kids are

all but one of my kids and grandkids have done firework shows from infants on no ear muffs. the only one who does not like fireworks to this day is the one who did not do them as an infant. as a teen he still holds his ears and looks down. none of the infants cried or was upset, never had to remove one from show

We were just there with my 9 month old. She happily watched Illuminations and Fantasmic no problem. (She also napped through the Indiana Jones Stunt Show! LOL) I think it depends on the individual kid.

Depends on the child. Our DS isn't a fan of the vacuum, but loved watched Wishes from over by the Poly and the Star Wars fireworks from Epcot by Mexico. Never worked out where we were at the park for the fireworks proper, but he enjoyed them. I would recommend muffs just as a precaution.

Agree with PP that we did the Banz and DD did fine. She only flinched once when it was a 'super' boom but loved it otherwise.
