I am thinking of requesting one for my dd19mo. Would you reccommend it?
Can you describe it too me, I'm guessing it's like her car seat instead for an airline seat? Does it have a 5 point safety harness rather than a lapbelt?
Thanks.

Hi there

We used one for our DS last year when he was 11 months old. It is very much like a car seat with the 5 point harness.

PM me your email address and I will send you a picture I have.

Hi, we used one last year when DD was about 19 mths. They are just like a car seat and come with the 5 point harness.

The only thing I would say is that even if you request one direct with VA before flying, there is no guarantee that you will get one as I think they only carry a couple on each plane.

I was expecting it to be already fitted when we got on the plane but it wasn't. I asked the FA and she had to go to a storage locker at the back of economy to get one (we were upstairs in PE).

Hi, Ive used the infant seat many times flying with my young kids, its very much like a car seat, the only downside ive found with the seat is the fact when ur childs asleep they very uprite and my kids did find it hard to sleep while in it......on our last flight to mumbai on our fligth home we chose not 2 use 1 for our yougest son and he slept far better......:hippie:
