i couldn't find any recent search results on this issue: will be traveling with our 6 month old and may want to try to take a taxi for early character breakfast. if you call bell services has anyone had experiences with taxis with infant car seats? thanks for your help!

What is the question exactly? If you are taking a taxi you just install the seat when the taxi arrives. You can't rent a seat (not safe) and I wouldn't have someone else install my seat.

Actually I read that you can request a car seat in the taxi when you call. I know a few people who have done this. You can just go to the front desk and they can help you with which companies to call

It is not recommended that you rent or borrow carseats from an unknown source like that. There's no way to know if it will be expired, cleaned correctly, has been in an accident, etc. Plus you would need the manual to be sure it was installed correctly, they're often missing.

I understand you might not be comfortable with it, but people do it all the time from hotel to park or hotel to hotel. So while it might not be the number one choice for some people - it is an option people have if they are comfortable doing so.

My husband convinced me prior to our Disney cruise a few years ago to not take our seat for our 6 month old and we could use AAA free rental from hertz. NEver again!!!! I actually went back through all their car seats to find the most acceptable one and was almost in tears. I will never travel without my own seat ever again.
