Need help finding a veterinary boarding facility near the World for our upcoming trip! We leave in exactly 2 weeks and one of our group has an elderly dog who just tore his ACL and went through surgery today. Tom will not go on the trip if his dog is not taken care of. We are looking for a good but not overly expensive care facility that will work his physical therapy, give him his medicine and feed him his special food. Also, we are leaving on Sunday and hopefully they will be willing to make arrangements for pickup on this day. If anyone knows of such a kennel in the Orlando area please let me know. Thank you!

Why doesn't Tom just board his sick dog with his vet? Most vets board animals. And his vet should be totally familiar with the dog.

Tom just moved here and does not have a regular vet, neither do we. Right now he is out of town visiting a friend (with his dog). He is also very attached to his dog and would like to have him close to him, even if not actually with him.

There is Best Friends kennel across from Port Orleans. As far as vet care there is Williamsburg Vet just up I-4 near Sea World.

I have not used either-just know they are in the area.
