I need a new stroller for our trip to WDW in May. Our old one is falling apart, no shame for it.

I want an inexpensive one ($60 or less) because she won't need it much longer.

Any suggestions?

I just ordered one from BabiesRus. It's a 2004 Maclaren Volo and it was $49.98 plus I found a code for $5 off. It fits a child up to 55 lbs and 44", so it was perfect for my 3 1/2 yr old. (we had gotten rid of the stoller last year but he still needs one for long trips.) I am very happy with it, and I can resell it for at least half of what I paid so that makes me happy too! (Maclarens resells great)

I have a 3 1/2 year old daughter also, and we have used the maclaren volo for Disney and many other vacations, and trips to the mall. It is the only stroller we use for her that is comfortable. You won't find any other stroller out there that works so well with toddlers, and even kids up to 5 or 6 years old. They hold the most weight I believe up to 55 pounds, and my daughter is tall about 41" already and she still has head room to grow and her feet are fine on the stroller foot rest. The best thing about them is that they push like a dream, and the handles are tall for me and my dh. I'm 5'8" and my dh is 6'3" and we don't have to hunch over to push, or we don't kick the back wheels at all. The mesh fabric is awesome for Disney, if it rains the seat dries right away, or if they spill, you just wipe it off.

I did see the other post that said babiesrus.com has a 2004 Volo for $49.98, but I think it is only in the tan stripe fabric. If you go to babydealz.com you can find more colors in the 2003 or 2004 model but they are a little bit more money, I believe $64.99 - $69.99 with $5.00 shipping. I think you can get the dapple color (grey) or pale blue, silver, oyster, or tan or blue stripe for that price. They also have 2005 models that come with a hood for $84.99 in carbon (black), silver, poppy (red) that's the one we have for $84.99.

I like the poppy (red) since it is so easy to spot in the stroller parking areas, since not many people have red strollers. A lot of black and navy!

The only other web site that I have purchased from is bestbuybaby.com and they have older model volo's with no tax and free shipping. I think you can get a 2003 volo in carbon (black) for $69.99 but remember no tax or shipping. They have 2004 volo's for $79.99 also.

Good luck with your searching. Remember the Maclaren's have an excellent resale value also. Your daughter can still get another 2-3 years out of the volo's too...

We took DD an umbrella stroller that was cheap at Meijers ($15). It was easy to take on the plane and big enough for her. And we had thought about passing it on instead of taking it home this past trip, but then decieded she could use it again next years trip.

We bought a small foldable Graco at Target just for Disney trips when my ds was 3. It's worked out great---last year when he was 4 we did 38 days in the parks on our AP's. It has a cup holder and tray for me, plus one for him, it reclines for a nap, has a large basket underneath and is quick and easy to collapse for Disney transportation (just twist the handle on top and it folds up). It was under $40.

Thanks for the replies.

DD still needs that nap during the day and it is much easier to have her nap in the stroller. Plus it is a great place to store stuff!

I will check out the VOLO and the websites mentioned.
