Inexpensive printer?

does anyone know which store I can get an inexpensive printer at? We rarely use ours, but of course I needed to print several things and it won't work. I think it's broken. I am hoping to get one under $50.00. Is this possible? I don't need anything fancy at all since we rarely use it. Thank you.

It's hard to say since I don't know what stores you have locally. Try checking at stores that sell electronics, e.g. Best Buy, Target, Walmart.

Or you can get one from amazon.com if you have time.

I saw one on a display at Walmart today for less than $50. I've actually seen them in the $20's. Before you buy, check to see how much the cartridges cost.

Yes...THIS. We bought a cheap printer, but the ink cartridge is twice the price the printer was!

Same here!! And the cartridges don't last long at all.

I think a laser jet is a good option, I bought a black and white one on Amazon for about $80 but the ink cartridges are way cheaper than ink jet. I am in school and print a ton and I love it, you can even get stuff to refill the cartridge yourself for about $6. But if you rarely use it like you say it may be worth buying the $20 someone mentioned

I just replaced mine a few months ago. It was between 30-40 dollars. I replaced it because the old was would have been 90 dollars to get some more ink cartridges for it. The cartridges for the new one are cheaper and the printer came with ink. I haven't had to replace the ink yet. I got it from Walmart. It was the same as one at Staples at the time but cheaper.
