My DD has a birthday a few weeks. She will be 10. She had a karaoke machine that someone gave her as a bday present about 4 years ago, but it was very cheap and it stopped working. I was thinking of getting her one for her birthday, but don't know anything about them. I would like one that will last, but not break the bank. Any suggestions on what brand/model and where to get it? I would like one that has 2 microphone capability so friends can sing too.

If there is another option to a machine, I'd be open to that too. She does have a couple karaoke discs, so was hoping to use those.

TIA!;)

Do you have a gaming system? I thought DDs would like a karaoke machine, but didn't want another clunky piece of equipment lying around. So Grandma bought Karaoke Revolution for PS2, an eye toy and a microphone for the girls' birthday. You don't need an eye toy to play - so the cost would probably be around $60 for the game and the microphone.

I bought my DD 7 a karokee machine for Christmas last year. I believe it is a memorox. It was $99 at Target. You can have two mics.

She keeps it in her room and uses it all the time. But, by it being in her room , we can shut her door.

She loves it.
