DH and I are spending Christmas and the week after with relatives in Florida after we visit WDW. We are spending a lot on the trip itself and don't have a lot left over for gifts. We've been instructed to bring "stocking stuffers" for any relatives we might encounter - which could be several.

MIL recommended that we get some little things appropriate to where we are from - Sacramento - and give those but I was hoping to do something more personal. Does anyone have any recommendations for something I could make that would be fairly inexpensive but easy to duplicate? I'm going to need a lot so any help anyone could provide would be great.

TIA!!

Christmas cookies, biscotti, jam, chutney, or put together cookies in a jar.
You can make alot of these items and just have them handy.
Put them in nice holiday packages and a attach a nice holiday note.

I've thought of these things and I am kind of leaning towards them. My fear though is that we are traveling from California to Florida with not a lot of room to pack. Anything I make has to be small so jar mixes won't work. I didn't know if there was something else that might work. :confused3

At Disney you can get wash cloths that are shaped into Disney Characters... they're cute for stockings but also could be considered practical... sort of. I think they were just a couple dollars each. But then I tend to think of 'stocking suffers' as semi gag gifts.

At home I just go to the Dollar store and see what I can find. Or World Market has great imported food samples.

Consider shipping the box ahead to yourself at the resort. This might open up your opportunities and make life a little easier on you.

How about a picture of your family, make the # of copies needed then let your girls make photo frames. You can make frames out of that craft foam stuff. It comes in all colors and is easy to work with. Your girls could help cut out different shapes from the foam, use buttons or sea shells and glue them around the frame. Glue the picture in place with a magnet on the back and your family has a fridge picture. You can make any size you want but I would not go any larger than 4 X 6.
