We were told we cannot bring in our own centerpieces for our Illuminations DP :(
They said we have to go through Disney to order any centerpieces or decor.

Does anyone know of any inexpensive centerpieces or table decor that is offered through Disney?

We do not want any flowers.

Thanks!:goodvibes

There are the gel glow cylinders, I want to say they are $15 each or so. If you wanted something less expensive than that you could always just do mickey confetti on the tables.

We did the LED gel candles. They were $17.50 each and we had one placed on each table (5 tables total). It looked pretty cool. They used the black linens (no charge) and just placed the candle in the center of the table. Our guests loved them!

(sorry we don't have any better pics!)

Thank you! Ugh, I just cannot fathom paying $18 for 10 tables for a decoration that we cannot even keep after it's done (they are rented, right?)

How much for just the confetti?

and are you allowed to bring in your own party favors? We want to bring in glow necklaces for our guests.

Yeah, I understand, we only did it since we had so few tables, and yes they are rented. Although, I think if your guests shove their hands into the gel they can keep the glow cubes! lol The confetti that we had at our reception was $6/bag. We used 2 bags for about 7 tables. They sprinkled it everywhere. We had the silver mickey confetti.

You can bring in your own favors. We had a ton of glow bracelets and necklaces. Our guests loved them! Also, I would suggest bringing "to go" bags for your guests. I wanted to bring them, but my DH convinced me they weren't needed, and sure enough when the party was over, our guests were piling the desserts up on plates and trying to balance them with napkins placed on top. It was actually pretty funny! It might be an unnecessary added expense, but I know my guests would've appreciated that extra touch. Just my opinion! :goodvibes

If you want to bring glow things, I would just scatter them on the tables and don't buy any decoration.

We are trying to decide whether to just scatter the glow necklaces or do the Mickey confetti as well.

Do they make a multi-colored Mickey confetti mix or just silver?

Also do you find that the confetti ends up flying around everywhere if it's windy?

We will be down on French Lower Terrace & it's in December, so I'm wondering if it will be more windy by the water??

I did use the glow centerpieces for the pre-reception and the DP, so I felt like I got my money's worth out of them.

They definitely make colored Mickey confetti, I've seen it in the resort restaurants. I would just do that since it is inexpensive and just adds a special touch.

We've never been in December, so I'm not sure how windy it is.
