I went to Ikea's site and discovered that

>>>Every Tuesday evening, enjoy a 15 piece meatball plate for $2.49! Regularly $4.99>>>>>>>

www.ikea.com

You can enter your zip code to see if your local Ikea has this deal.

Wow! That's a great price, but it sounds terribly unhealthy!

And they taste REALLY bad! (At least they did when I tried them a few years ago).

They have a great plate with Lox and a salad that is only $4.99. Very very tasty, and big enough for a snack for 2 or meal for one.

I like their meatballs. I eat at Ikea only a few times/year at most so I'm not worried about the fat intake. They have salads for entrees, too. It's a pretty good price for a dinner.

I guess it depends on your tastes... I love IKEA's meatballs, I usually buy frozen ones to take home to eat between my trips (2 or 3x a year)

Not that I eat them very frequently (probably less than 2x a year), but the meatballs are really good. Add the lingenberry's and wow...what a great taste!

I love Ikea meatballs! We buy the bags of frozen meatballs and the sauce mix. We pull them out when a quick meal is needed. I even have a jar of the ligon berry stuff.

Great deal. I think they're delicious!

i only go to ikea like 1x a year..are the frozen meatballs as good? and the sauce? maybe next time i'll b uy it as well to keep in the house!

Somehow, the idea of going to Ikea for dinner is like going to the supermarket to buy a sofa. Makes no sense.

The frozen meatballs and sauce are just as good as in the store.

I always forget that you can eat at Ikea. I love Swedish meatballs, so I'm totally trying them the next time I go there!

We do the same thing! It makes a very easy meal on a busy night (and everyone loves them -- kids included)

my kids think of Ikea as a restaurant:lmao: cananyone say bacon and potatoes in the morning!?:rotfl:

And yet, if you go there and know how much time you can spend there, it makes perfect sense for food to be right there in the middle (at least at the Seattle area Ikea). Helps any frayed nerves caused by hunger, and lets you have a nice sit-down rest to discuss the next half of the store.

We're vegetarian, but they have nice, inexpensive things for us, too.

Ikea often offers free kid's meals (no purchase required). We went this weekend and got my kids 2 meals ($2.49 value), as well as the hotdog meal and a slice of pizza. So, lunch for 4 of us for $3.75. Not bad...
