Inexpensive Compact Camera?

I have a Canon Rebel that I love, but I've decided I really need a small camera I can keep in my purse and take to the parks etc. I'd like to spend less than $100 - not real concerned about having lots of features, just nice quality, easy to use, good battery life...too much to ask!?

Any recommendations? Thanks!
