inexpensive, clean, safe for single?

you might consider one of the value resort - they should be even with a discount under $100 ($92.25) - but Disney will probably have discounts - so make it around $75.

no other area will be as safe as Disney - but I do love the Kissimmee area - yes even US 192....

you might try Best Western Lakeside, Quality Inn, Clarion Inn (get worst reviews than the other two)

you might find these hotels here for a better price

there is also Cypress Pointe - not a hotel - timeshares - but you don't have to listen to a sales pitch. more in the DD area but still a pretty safe area.

I agree with Pat all the way. Staying by oneself I think Disney is the way to go. It has to be one of the safest places on earth.

Safe at Disney's always been my idea too, but I 'm trying to stretch a trip in length by reducing the cost. Even a 'value' resort isn't inexpensive.

not if you really want safe.

Cypress Pointe studio is $70.

there are mom and pop - still a couple along US 192 - they don't have websites find them with this link. they will be clean and pretty safe - not complete they are in an controlled area.

forgot the last one - masters inn is pet friendly - so only look if you like pets or are willing to put with them.

I happen to love pets.

check mousesavers.com for offsite deals.

January is one of the cheapest times to stay onsite. I'd go with a value like Pop Century (AAA discount) get you around $60-70/nite. Hard to beat that when you figure in busing.
