Inexpensive breakfast

I fly in and either rent a car or hire a car service. A quick stop at Publix means I can grab fresh fruit, muffins, croissants or bagels. I bring a small cutting board, plastic bowls/plates and cutlery as well as a sharp knife from home. Every morning we enjoy fresh fruit and a somewhat healthy pastry. In the past, I packed my Ninja small blender and made smoothies with fresh fruit, OJ and ice cubes. If I know a hotel room has the traditional coffee maker, I can make boiled eggs quite easily although it takes a bit longer. Last year my breakfasts and snack foods for 3 cost me under $50 for the week. Not too shabby!

When considering $4 pastries at a resort food court, I usually just decide to buy something more interesting in the parks, like those mammoth cinnamon rolls with apple-caramel from Gaston's Tavern.

We like to buy school bread and/or ham & cheese croissants in Epcot. If you ask for these items to-go, they will package them nicely in Chinese food-like containers. They hold up well during the walk to the exit and for the bus ride back to the resort.

there isn't Nescafe anymore, all coffee is now Joffreys (except in Starbucks locations)

That is great news! Nestle's liquid coffee concentrate made vile coffee.

I could handle drinking it on a few random nights or so at a park. Anything more would be torture.
