I have been researching accomodations and have noticed some of the best/worst comments on the accomodations forum.

Given our poor dollar, can anyone suggest a descent accomodation in the WDW area betwen US$40 and US$60 per night? My wife and I aren't really picky, we just want something clean.

Thanks

Would you consider trying Priceline ? I haven't used it myself personally, but from reading after reading some of the comments from some of their support groups, $40-$60 US seems doable. When are you going? The only thing you should know is, is that your bid is permanent if its accepted (you can't cancel it) and you give up some perks like hotel points (if you collect them).

Check out http://www.biddingfortravel.com They have an entire section for Orlando and WDW. They also tell you which hotels fall into the different categories ... Hope that's helpful :D

With a code, depending on when you go, you can stay at ASMU, for less than $60 US. If you are flying, staying on disney property you also wouldn't need a rental car. Also saving parking cost that you would have to pay if you stayed off site($7/8 US/day).

I've seen www.mousesavers.com have excellent rates at the Marriott Courtyard at DTD fro $20.00 USF, there are others going for $29 USF. I think I've seen these type of rates about 3 or 4 times in about 18 months, that's more the Courtyard one ~ keep looking at mousesavers. S
