Ok, I'm stumped, any one got some good ideas? :confused3 My son is having a snowtubing party and I'm looking for some fun, inexpensive favor ideas. :earsboy:

What about like chapstick or those inexpensive stretch gloves, hot chocolate, I saw the "snow bricks" at Wal-mart, they are just little square shaped buckets that you use to make snow bricks for forts or walls or whatever.

Hats maybe? Chapstick is a good idea, but some boys are so into not using "lipstick" they may not like it, depends on the age I guess. If you make them a goodie bag as a favor for after snowboarding maybe you could find snowboarding key chains, add hot chocolate mix and a pair of gloves (warm ones could get expensive though).

I agree with the above. Also, how about those warming packets that you can slip in you gloves or boots?

:earsboy: I did a hot chocolate poem for the holidays, but it's still a great idea along with the others.....keep them coming!!!!! Thanks!!!! :flower:

Hi, how about some snow caps candy, maybe a gift certificate for an ice cream cone or a slurpee/slush.Maybe you could put them in the pair of gloves and use that as the favor. Good Luck!

Is this party at a commercial hill? Will they be clinbing back up the hill or be pulled by a tow rope. I would look for cheap sun glasses, whenever we go tubing the glare is murder on your eyes. I would also look for some funky snow hats, they should be on clearance everywhere. Then I would throw in a water bottle, an energy bar, chapstick and a sample size of sunscreen.

We just did a sledding party for my DD...
in treat bags we had lip stuff (smackers b/c they are girls and want flavor stuff), foamie snowman doorhangers (from Michael's Xmas clearance), candy treats (take5 which has pretzels, etc inside), a foamy bookmark w/snowflake at the top (Michael's Xmas clearance), and a Disney nailpolish (probably not great for boys..LOL).

For boys I'd go for the plain Chapsticks, sunglasses (Family Dollar has sorta good cheap ones), and snacky stuff. Like jerky sticks, mini bags of chips or snack mix and something like M&Ms. Boys are always hungry when they play outside. Depending on the age and if you want a toy then I'd suggest a Hot Wheels.

Mini Donuts look a little like snow tubes...maybe some of those in cello bags? I also like the sno-caps idea.

Thanks for all your wonderful suggestions! :) I did a quick search on Oriental Trading and found a snowflake school kit which is a pencil case, pencil, eraser, and something else. I also bought snowflake pads and some snow putty. I would like to find the stretchy gloves for under $1. I went to our local dollar store but no luck. Has anyone seend the gloves anywhere??? I'd still like to throw in a hot chocolate even though I did it for the holidays, it's a cute thing, and some candy and call it a day. I wonder how much I could find the chapstick for. The tubing party is at a small commercial mountain from 6-8. It was much cheaper to do it weekday vs weekend. It allows him more people. I liked the snow brick idea, but can't find them locally. I don't have a Walmart close by, so, it would be more effort than it's worth to get there to look for them. I'm still open for ideas, so post them if you have them! Thanks again!!!! :earsboy:

Our Dollar Tree had them for $1 as did Weis Markets (not a big selection though). They were the stretchy kind.

If you have an AC moore store near you they also had the gloves too for 1.00.

If you can't find the gloves...I would get bandanas. They are great to keep the blowing snow off face.

Take a look at OrientalTrading.com, they usually have cheap things and you may be able to get some more ideas.
