Indy dis meets!

Tae Ja and I are going to be planning a couple dis meets. I know Dan would love a meet during the Labor Day weekend, so we can plan on that one in the fall. BUT, how about one sooner than that?

We need to know who all would like to come, when and we can figure out where.

Did everyone like meeting at the Applebees in speedway? Was it easy to find? Did you like the drinks and food? We can meet there again, or somewhere else, suggestions please. lol

Book me for the Labor Day one, Laurie, I will be there again. All you Indiana folks, and nearby states, Kentucky, Illinois, Ohio, maybe Michigan, you guys should get to an Indy meet, great people, lots of fun, food. A good afternoon/evening.

I would possibly be interested.........Indy is about 3 1/2 hours from me, but depends on when and where! My brother and sister race and I have a hard time not being there to watch them and make sure they are okay!!

Would really enjoy an Indy meet. We're only 60 miles south of the loop (on I-74).

Nothing planned for labor day yet so that date is definitely open.

One earlier would depend on the dates.

Looking back here, regarding the Applebee question. I thought is was fine, easy to get to, good food and service. And the date, I think, for the Labor Day one, would be Saturday, the 3rd. Correct, Laurie?

chili's is similar to an Applebees or a TGIF.

add us to the list for an Indy Dis meet! I would love to do one outside where we could really visit with people and let the kids run!! Applebees was nice, it was just hard to visit with people when you were sitting on the end!!!

We might be up for an Indy meet... depending on when. I won't speak too far out in the future for Labor Day since that is so close to my DH's birthday, but I'll keep it in mind

I'd like to participate. We are about two hours north of Indy. Good excuse to leave the yard work for awhile. DH b-day is Labor Day weekend so don't know about that one. Let me know, we are new to all this and still learning the ropes. Thanks

Sounds like it would be a lot of fun. Many familiar names and some faces here. One is especially "Suite" . I have a feeling that Caskbill might be a nearby nneighbor too.

It will be according to if I have a grandson or not that day. He is 8 and wants grandma to teach him algebra this summer. I am going to be doing a whole bunch of cramming the night before. Was not my favorite subject way back when either. LOL

I will keep an eye on this thread (and the other 2 or 3) and see what you all decide on.
