All you indy people this is the first time using the indianapolis airport.I think it would be cheaper to park my car at the airport. What is the cost of parking there. Are there lots safe? Is there plenty of room usually? What about nearby lots what there prices and safty steps?

The economy lot is quite a bit away from the airport so if you are planning on using the economy lot, get there plenty in advance. It is $5.50 per day. Tiger parking is closer but it is $7.00 per day. Then there is a corporate & business class for 6.50 and 8.00. Chris only uses those when he is on a business trip. We usually pay the $1.50 extra and go with Tiger. It doesn't take as long, there are more busses, and it just seems easier when you have kids with you.

I have used the tiger lot everytime. Never had any problems. Found the rates to be ok, compared to $11 a day back home in Providence! :)

Hey, thanks for the info. I've never used it.

Thanks for your help. Anyone ever use the 1st class express airport parking? Thats the name of the company. Is the Indy park ride and fly connected to the airport? We are going to have three suitcase and 4 carryones and 2 small kids. Trying to make it easy as possible.

indy park ride and fly is great...you pull in to the lot, they help unload your car and then help put it onto the bus while you're checking in...then they whisk you over to the airport (not connected to the airport). then when you get back, you call them, they come get you, and have your car ready to go! it's the easiest i've ever encountered...

Indy Park Ride and Fly is on the north edge of the airport. If you use their valet service, you pull your car in front of the office and open your trunk. An employee will take your bags from your car and put them in the shuttle van. One person can go into the office and check-in while the others get in the van. They will take you to the terminal and unload your bags from the van at which time you can get a baggage handler to take your bags to curbside check-in or inside.

When you return to Indy, get your baggage and then call Indy Park Ride and Fly(they have a listing on the hotel board in the baggage area). They will come and pick you up and take you back to your car. If you want them to, they will take your baggage to your car, which will be nearby.

A few dollars tip each way is worth the convience to me.
