French fan forum ED92 are reporting that after several days of wage negotiations between Unions and Disneyland Paris, a general strike will be launched tomorrow (Fri 13 March 2015)

They are reporting the strike will start at 07:30 tomorrow morning in the Back Stage areas of the resort.

It is unknown at this time what implications this strike may have for Guests of the resort .

We got some great pictures of some 'front stage' industrial action back in 2012:

The disruption today was minimal with a demonstration this morning outside the Disneyland Hotel in Fantasia Gardens.

Then around 11:30 in Central Plaza during Goofy’s Garden Party there where protestors waving banners and banging drums but they were drowned out by the music of the parade.

Thanks Jonjo. Any insight into what the issue is?

The Unions are unhappy with the 3% pay rise that has been offered. They want 5% and DLP is holding firm at 3%.

As my wife said the other day, pay rise lucky CMs to get one! She works for the NHS and her pay has been frozen for a number of years and this year she is geting 1%.
