I may be obsessively watching FW videos on you tube . I'm so excited anticipating our maiden snow bird voyage in Feb from Eastern Or. I purchased AP's yesterday and it made it real REAL !
I noticed in on space an RV had a baby gate style fence around almost the entire concrete space around the trailer. Anyone know the rules on that?
We will be bringing our two Disney Fur kids. One is our 9 yr old Jack Russel Lilly (yes, named after Lillian Disney) who for all her perfection is obsessed with all things small, especially squirrels and will bolt like a greased pig when she sights something. The other is our overly sweet and simple choc lab who is easy to control. I'd never EVER leave them. Ever. But if Indidnt have to panic and do the double leash cluster at the door every time while we are in our site, it would make life more relaxed. Our Lilly also is a bit dominant towards other dogs and I'd love a barrier. It amazes me the number of people who approach us in RV sites with their dogs assuming a dog loves a dog loves another dog.

I've never seen a specific rule on that, but I would bet it would have to follow same rules as decorations which means no more than halfway to your neighbor's site. You would need to call them to find out any specifics about height.

Just my guess on this.

We use the gold pet fencing at the Fort, and it works out great! We don't have to leash-up the dachshunds to take them out, which works out wonderful for them and us. It's nice that they can roam a bit without being leashed all the time!

We don't put our fencing up all of the way around our camper. We have two sets of the fencing that we latch together to make a nice sized circle, square, kidney, or whatever shape best fits the area that's pretty level and close to the camper door. Our dogs would bark at anyone or other dogs going by and I don't want to subject our neighbors to that at any time so I like to keep them close by. Since our dogs are small, two sets are just fine, but a larger dog is going to require a larger area. Good luck!

Thank you for your info and ideas. I think I'd prefer just the front portion from under the steps , tires, etc.
Now to convince the hub we need to haul them.....
Our big dog won't even attempt to go over. She had knee surgery last year, and although totally recovered she has no clue she can jump. Other than getting on the couch

Insee the mention of the gold pet fencing, and other specific brands or styles ? It's been a while since we had baby gates or babies !

This is the type of fencing that we use. They also sell them with higher sides too. One thing we had to do was to modify one of the sections of fencing so it slid under our camper steps so the dogs couldn't escape through the holes between the steps. The fencing really works out great for us!

I really like that more than the baby fence style because I think it won't weigh as much. What you describe about modifying for under the stairs is exactly what I want! I don't need them anywhere near the sewer hose etc .

Oh BTW how many did you connect?

I think we carry four or five sections. We use all of them at larger campsites, and just a couple when the sites are closer together. Let me know if you need any photos of how my husband modified the fencing for the stairs!

Ohh I'd love some pics to show my DH!

The first photo shows where we cut out part of the fence so it can slide under the steps. I included a photo of our steps just in case yours were a little different. By sliding the fencing under the steps, it prevents the dogs from escaping through the holes at the back of the steps. I've also learned to keep the fencing up against the camper at the door so the dogs can't jump off the steps over the fencing. I learned this the hard way! Let me know if you have any questions!

I will show these to my husband! We just brought our trailer home today from storage and I'm so excited to start cleaning, rearranging, packing, and fussing over it
