I think I need a good cry. I feel so out-of-sorts right now. I haven't cheated once on induction yet, on purpose. I've accidentally cheated out of ignorance. This Atkins stuff can be confusing.
I also started a colon cleansing treatment today from Advocare. It's 10 days long. I have to drink some fiber packets most mornings. It's got some carbs in it, but most of them (9 or 10) come from fiber. There are also some sugars in it, but I thought it was worth the sugars to get my body cleaned out. Do you think that those sugars could be causing my sluggishness and "down-ness" today?
I tried the eggplant parmasana recipe from the board tonight. Never had eggplant before, never will again. I'm in Indiana...we like corn, potatoes, homemade bread, etc.....eggplant? what was I thinking?!?
I'm going to watch the JLo and Ben interview tonight and hope that I'm happier when I wake up tomorrow.
Anybody else have really down days....everybody's so upbeat on the boards, I'm almost afraid to post this...
Well, thanks for listening.

But I can tell you I'm pretty upbeat most the time- it's just a preference- but there are those moments like today when I caught myself staring at a melting wrapper of swissrolls my son refused to eat because they were tooo gooey. Well, I had done GREAT so far- walked my 4 miles in 100% humidity- lost a pound just in sweat I'm sure! Had my slimfast for breakfast- leftover potroast and carrots for lunch a 1/2 of a not so ripe plum for snack and there was that dadblasted swissroll looking so nice and gooey. (Not to mention I'm 2-3 days prior to TOM!) I thought- I'll just lick the chocolate that's stuck to the wrapper- YEAH RIGHT!!! I ate the whole darn thing! But I stopped myself from reaching for the cheetos when I came home- funny I have to have salty things after eating chocolate. Anyways- I had my slimfast for dinner and lots of lemon water- the moral of the story is- WE ALL HAVE THESE MOMENTS- but if you look at the total 168 hours in a week- that's only 5 minutes where I let myself cut loose and abandon my goal. Those other hours have to count for something! So pick yourself up and stick to that 10 day cleansing thing- then it's OVER- you'll still see losses if you STICK WITH IT and make the most of the days to come. You can do this- heck your sig says FIRECRACKER- I expect to hear some pops when you bust open those new clippies!!!
