Hi all!

Is Indy considered Eastern or Central time zone in December? We'll be driving down from Michigan for our flight and I forget! I remember when I was a student at Purdue that in October, something changes, but I forget which way.

Side note: I'll forever be time zone confused--I was born in Michigan City, IN and at that point in time, they were considered Eastern Zone, but all of the babies born had their births recorded in Central (not sure if it was to keep in line with Indy or Chicago). I was technically born at 12:50 a.m. on 7/10, but I got bumped back to 11:50 a.m. on 7/9. Weird, but makes for a good story and is worthy of 2 bday celebrations!

Thanks in advance!
Amy

Indy is on Central now. (We're an hour behind) In October, we'll switch to Eastern. Go Boilers!

Technically we are always Eastern Standard Time. Most of the state never changes time, so half the year CDT=EST, the other half EST=EST. Its nuts, here in Warsaw, during the rest of the US being on daylight saving, you can watch TV programs on Eastern time out of Ft Wayne and on Central time out of South Bend.
