My best friend just called from her cell phone at WDW/ MGM. She just got off stage from Indiana Jones. I did it last year so I told her to scream like crazy when they asked for volunteers. I wish there was a pin that said "I did the Indiana Jones show". It was so cool, I highly recommend it!!!:bounce: :bounce: :smooth:

I was a lucky audience member selected for the Indiana Jones show, too. I was a "laugher" and had to do a "party laugh". It was a blast being on set w/the stunt people. I have always loved to act (although don't consider myself good enough to pursue a career in acting) and this was a blast for me. Needless to say, my 6 1/2 yo DS was extremely envious that I got to "play" with Indiana Jones!!!!

I do agree ... a pin would be nice, even if you could only get it (a) if you were in the show and (b) you had to pay for it. I would have paid for a pin, a t-shirt or even a video of the "performance"! DH said he was surprised that they didn't sell us a video. I def. would have bought one!!!! It wouldn't cost much to do ... really ... they could even burn it on a dvd or dub it onto VHS tapes. If you wanted it, you could buy it and they'd burn or dub a copy for you while you waited. Really ... do you think it would cost a lot of $$? I think people would be thrilled to have a copy of themselves!

There was a guy who was very disappointed that we didn't get a "memento" of our performance. Oh, well ... what can you do!??!

That's totally awesome.

DH was selected in Oct 1992 when we were on our honeymoon. Y'all keep bringing back such great memories. Thanks!

Now that we are returning with all our gang, our boys cannot wait to see Indiana Jones.

BTW, do children (6-9) ever get selected to be in the show. I told the boys I highly doubt it.

You must be 18 yrs. or older to be selected for the Indiana Jones show due to the fact that they use pyrotechnics on stage while you are up there. And, let me tell you ... you can feel the heat from the explosions! The age requirement is the first thing they say when they announce that they need volunteer actors. So, unfortunately, your children won't qualify. Best to let them know now, so they're not disappointed later!

You must also sign a mandatory waiver that releases WDW from liability should you get injured. They make a big joke of "Oh, we'll get you into a costume and you'll have to sign a waiver". Well, it's no joke -- you do fill out and sign a waiver after you get your costume on!

HTH!
