I just made my FP+ for March 14-21 (and I must say it was easy and I got what I wanted within 5 min!!!)

But last week, I was planning my stratagy and had Indiana Jones show times, but when I was scheduling my FP+, I noticed it indicated it was closed.

When did this happen? I know there were rumors but hadn't seen anything more :confused3 My kids will be so disappointed!

what exactly does it say to indicate that its closed?

i have not heard any announcement that it was soon to close.
not permanently and not even for a refurb.

Me too!! I didn't want a FP for it but noticed you couldn't choose it & it said 'closed for refurbishment' in red. I'm sad as we've never been and wanted to see it this trip :(.

I don't think there is any credibility to the rumor that it is closing permanently in the near future, but it could be closing for refurbishment or because of a outside event using it. It's used on a regular basis for a cheerleading competition.

I remember this from last year. I thought it had closed when a DIS boarder told me about the competition.

thank you all! I tried a different day and it was there.

I also am not getting a FP+ for IJ but had just noticed the red saying closed and it caught me off guard

curious, why does anyone even need a fast pass for this??? You walk in, and sit down, no lines to wait in.

I was there last week & for the the first time ever that I've seen this - it was standing room only! All seats filled & people standing in back watching! I was shocked!

That was our exact same experience last month. I think with the slow reduction of things to do in HS, the activities that remain are seeing increased loading.

We used FP+ for Indiana Jones in May thinking that it was a dedicated seating area, but it was not. We found a seat like everyone else who didn't have FP+ so we felt that it was a waste of a FP.

We used our 4th FP for it (it was this or GMR, which had a 5 min standby), and we got to sit on the front row, since the standby crowds hadn't been yet seated.

Nice to get that seat with no wait, which wouldn't have been possible with standby. We'd already riddent RnR, ToT twice, Star Tours four times, TSM, GMR, LMA...so that late in the day (4p) it was a good use of our 4th FP.

The good news is: I think any rumors about it closing are wrong. I regularly stalk the auditions calendar and found one for principal stunt actors for IJ on Feb 8. Cant see them casting new bodies to shut down the attraction. Which is good news for me both because it's one of my favorite shows there, and because I intend on attending the audition.

I am a big Indiana Jones fan but not much of a show fan. I really wish like in CA they had an Indiana Jones ride at the park.

we're headed down in June, and I've heard the rumors of the Indy show closing. My DH will be absolutely devastated. It's his favorite thing at HS after RnR, and we missed it during our May 2013 trip. I do enjoy it as well, and our girls have never seen it. This thread is giving me a little bit of hope that it will be open when we're there. Fingers crossed!
