Well I haven't been on it yet but Debbie has and she hated it when it was running backwards as her head was continually thrown from side to side. I noticed a lot of people getting off the ride holding their heads and ears obviously due to not knowing where to position their heads whilst riding resulted in it been thrown side to side. With it riding forwards again you can anticipate a turn or loop before and can adjust your head.
Not too bothered about the fear factor though!!!!!
lol... this confused me too! it was forwards in december... but i had my eyes shut anyway.... lol...
Paul - SM did that to me.. when we rode mission 2 this year i made a conscious effort to put my head right back... still got my ears! and cos it was so cold too.... ouchie!
I think I have to join the wimp line as well Only been on it once when it started out going forward. Not looking forward to when DD and DS want to go on this
Being the generous sort that I am, I said that it would be a good quality time thing for the troops to go on with mum
Its really not so bad. Space mountain is considerably worse and my yongest thinks they are both very boring. She's 12 if it had passed you by. If it doesnt have several loops or no floor beneath you then its not a real roller coaster according to her.
Last summer we went to the big park near Benidorm where they have lots of coasters and I being the adult who is less scared of heights got to ride loads of big fast scary coasters.
I think the best thing about it is its hidden location, you can hear it in adventure land the great rattle noise, But it takes a bit of effort to discover it.
Also the views from the top are great, seeing space mountain lit up at dark from height is worth the ride alone.
