Can anyone that has been to HS this summer share if they are still picking guests from the audience to participate in the Indiana Jones show?

They weren't doing it last summer nor this summer from the two times I saw it. I was picked once too and it was so much fun! Hopefully they bring it back!

We saw the show in June and no audience members were called to join the show.

Two of my kids have been picked and it was fun for them but I can totally see this never coming back.

Has anyone seen Indy drop from the ceiling at the beginning?? I have only been a few times since COVID but he's not dropped, he climbs in over the wall where the ball rolls down.

What was the reason that they stopped?
It was dropped post COVID. I imagine it was to keep the performers safe. Shows were slow to return with the reasoning that labor disputes regarding COVID protection, masks and testing.

Not bringing it back continues keeping the distance, drops a paid CM stunt actor so savings costs and helps shorten the show. It is very possible that part of the labor agreement was to remove that part.

I've seen the show 3 times this summer and twice he dropped from the ceiling. I actually had never seen the variant until my last show. And another thing I saw during the variant was some flame effects I had not recalled before.

Perhaps they are playing around with different options to perhaps choose one going forward. It's not like they need to offer different shows to fill the arena.

Hmm. I was thinking that I saw them pick audience members last November....but now that I think about it, maybe they just "picked" the guy who was an actual actor.

We saw the show July 4 week and they announced tech issues and it would be shortened. They weren’t kidding as it was just 2 scenes and then they did bows. The whole audience sat there when it was over confused that it couldn’t be over that fast. It was good but the best parts were having tech issues

We saw the show in October. They did not pick any guests to be part of the show.
Indy did come down from the ceiling.

That stunt actor is an equity actor, so it would save a little. However, one of the bright shirt guys, who had a friend in streetmosphere, now has a friend over at Saavi’s.

Last time we saw the show in February 2022 there weren't taking any extras either.

The show is not was it used to be. Maybe its time to finally cancel it or bring it back to where it once was🤷‍♂️
