A friend is at DL now and says that it looks like IJ will open tomorrow! I asked him to send pics of the sign/indication that makes him say that. Hopefully I’ll have them soon.
This would be amazing news, it looked like it was going to be down into April. I’m going out there April 21, so hopefully this is true!!! Thanks for the update.
I may rope-drop IJ on Sunday. I don’t have any sort of OCD… except when it comes to DL on Sundays ;-). I love my routine of rope-dropping Fantasyland and find it hard to deviate from it.
So excited to hear this, as we arrive next week. I just hope Splash remains open, so we can have one last ride, as it went down as we were boarding last time.
That would be my expectation. Splash is usually closed earlier in the year for refurb which wasn't going to be necessary this year since the whole ride is being redone. I figured they were only holding off on closing Splash so as not to gut Genie+ too much and to add to the overall capacity of the park while Indy was down. With the new ride in Toontown already open and the re-opening of Toontown and Indy coming this weekend, I would think they are good to move on to the next project.
Much shorter than what I expected. As of one day after reopening. The wall effect in the rolling ball room doesn't work.
Other things noticed:
The lights in the temple queue are very bright and I didn't see the lights flutter.
The safety film is still cut to only show the safety portion.
The snake barely moved.
The water doesn't seem present in the lava pit.
The new effect that replaced the rat room either makes no sense, goes by too quickly, or wasn't working as it should.

I kinda have that routine too (FL first). I think it comes from the "Before Times" when EMH at DL meant either FL or TL. There's not much for me in TL (Sorry, Buzz) so it was always FL and PP first.
Once we were done with FL, it was over to the 'Westside'.
We were just happy to be on it. We hit it first and on and off throughout the day it was “temporarily closed.” We wanted to ride it again but not enough for wait times longer than an hour.
