Indiana Jones at Disneyland

Are they even spiders? I always thought they were like scarabs...

I do believe they are Scarabs.....but i can't remember......

Is it the Scarabs or the Rats that drop down and crawl around your feet on the floorboard of the Indy Jeep??

Oh man, you are EVIL.

"I was thinking it was just lapbelts, not even a lap bar?"

You might very well be right. Especially on Indy I don't hold on to anything, I just let my upper body go with the flow of the ride, while bracing my feet solidly (and I never have any of the problems that my brother and SIL who grips things do), so lack of memory of gripping a lap bar doesn't really mean much, now that I think about it. Yeah, I think it's just belts. Maybe.

The track is also the same for dinosaur and Indy

They needed a quick way to make the track so they took the track designs and made a new attraction around it

The do not touch poles are really cool when you pull on them
I don't really understand what you mean by "track". The ride vehicles are the same and the movement comes from the ride vehicle not a track, but the ride itself and effects are completely different.

They are both great rides but Indy is a better ride than Dinosaur.

I have a major spider phobia and Indy is one of my favorite rides!! Do it, you won't regret it! LOL and my DBF is one who pulls everything, in fact my DD kept telling him to stop and asking if he could read because he kept pulling and touching! LOL

They are scarabs. Along with the blowgun effect it is much fun. My daughter rode the ride 21 times when we were there last summer. Enjoy the experience.

I don't like roller coasts, I hate all the up and down, but I enjoyed "Dinosaur" in WDW. Will I like Indy?

Yes. I won't ride on ferris wheels and I love Indy.

There are seat belts, a hand holder much like a saddle pommel sorta thing and a bar to hold on, but the bar doesn't move.

Go the fastpass route, once doing it I'll never wait in line for it.
