Indian Restaurant

Are there any Indian Restaurant (or restaurants that serve Indian food) in the area around Disneyland??

within a couple miles of DLR. One is called India Garden and it is at 2632 W. La Palma Ave. which is north of DLR. Phone number is 714-229-8501. We had lunch there once and it was pretty good and fairly priced. The other one is called Jhumka Mahal and it is at 2954 W. Ball Road, phone number is 714-484-9902. We've had lunch and dinner there and I would consider it to be the better of the two. I'm not a real expert on Indian food but I just thought the taste and ambiance was better at Jhumka. The prices are about the same. It is also a little closer to DLR than India Garden. You probably can't go wrong with either one. If you don't mind going a little farther, there is Bismillah Indian Restaurant on Knott Ave. in Buena Park. It's phone number is 714-827-7201. They have very good food at reasonable prices.

There are a few more within 10 miles of DLR but we have not tried them. I guess after living here for 35 years, you end up trying a lot of restaurants!

Is Jhumka pretty easy to find, for someone who does not know there area at all??

You exit the Disney parking structure and head onto Ball Road. Go left (west) on Ball Road. Then you go past Magnolia Ave. and Jhumka is (I believe) on the left-hand side of the road. It's only about a mile and it is easy to get back to DLR by going back up Ball Road. (east)
