Hi I called to make my dining res, and many were already booked, boo! Well anyways the disney representative said there was a new Indian restaurant that opened just recently. My whole family including kids love indian food, so I went ahead and booked it. My question is can anyone give me a  :wizard: :worship: review?

It doesn't open until May 1.

Not sure it is actually an "Indian" restaurant. It is described by Disney as "African-inspired cuisine with an Indian touch" which apparently means they will have tandoor ovens.

The name is Sanna and it will be in Kidani at Animal Kingdom Villas. The restaurant is more of a cross between African and Indian and its food is derived from Eastern Africs, hence the Indian influence.

I read that the seating areas of Sanaii will have views of the savannahs from your table. I read this last year though, so I'm not sure if they decided to stick with this idea.

I'm sure this one will continue to be spelled creatively, like Raglan Road and 'Ohana!

Below is the info from the Disney website:

Sanaa Restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village

Cuisine: African Location: Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village
Saana Restaurant serves African cuisine with Indian flavors for lunch and dinner at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas — Kidani Village. This restaurant opens in early 2009.

And we have ressies for May 29, 2009...

I'm booked for lunch on opening day ... Will post a review, hopefully with photos of a menu, as soon as I can!

OOH! That's exciting! I can't wait! You have to Run to a computer after lunch please!

Don't know if I can get to one fast. I check in that day. Hoping my room will be ready early, as no one will be in their before me !!

Does anyone know if you can use the Dining plan here? We will be checking in on May1 also, and are interested in this restaurant. Looking for a link to a sample menu, to see if they have something for kids too.

The CM said it was on the plan, so that is one of the biggest reasons I decided to try it. No real menu posted yet, but if you look at previous reviews there is link that allowed me see soem of the meals supposed to be served, they looked great!

I have an ADR for there in May and was told that it is one credit on the DDP.
