Indian Jones Always breaking!

It broke down when we went to DL bAck in december, luckily it was not to long we ended u just waiting about 15 min.

Piggy backing onto this post... my DD should finally be tall enough to ride this summer, so I'm going to plan to fit this in (and make sure we are prepared for it to be down periodically).

My question is: which Indian Jones film should she watch before going on the ride? It is just the first film?

TIA.

Ehhh... The tone of the Forbidden Temple is kinda akin to Temple of Doom, but I wouldn't exactly recommend watching that one with your DD. I think you are right: you should watch Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Also, pet-peeve of mine: it's Indiana Jones.

How old is your DD? I think the second one is the definitely the scariest one but it's the one that's closest to the ride. We watched all 3 of them with our DD's, they were 10 (almost 11) and 7 (almost 8) at the time, my DD8 was OK with it, she got scared a few times but she just asked the other day if she could watch it again. And to be honest, I'm not sure who is more excited for the new one, her or me! LOL

Shoot, if you watch Raiders you'll be hooked and wind up watching the trilogy!

If you google it, there is a website that reports injurys at disneyland (theres other stuff on the site aswell), and there is atleast 1 report i can't remember if it was confirmed or not but that a lady had broken her ankle walking off of indy once when it broke down! But the ride with the most injury is the runaway train which is my fav. :sad2: ..... This last trip was the first time I have ever ridden it and it was great i can't wait for take my son once hes tall enough! I just hope it doen't break down cause that would probley scare him off the ride for awhile!

How old is your DD? I know that I saw Raiders when it came out in the theater, and I was...oh I don't feel like looking up when it came out, but I was under 10 I know that.

Then again, if she's old enough to GO on the ride with it's high height, I suppose she's probably old enough to see it. :) I'd watch it ahead of time, though...we recently rented it and 1. excellent, timeless movie, 2. SCARY gross images, 3. YUM-MO Harrison Ford! But still, really gross images that you might want to remind yourself of.

All that said! I don't think you need to watch anything to prepare for the ride, IMO it stands on its own.
