Indian Creek..

Hi, Just wondered if anyone knows anything about the Indian Creek area (West Kissimmee).
We'd like to stay close to Disney in a rented villa, any other suggestions and tips gratefully recieved.

When I was doing research in fall of 2003 for 2 rental villa's/pool homes I looked into this area too. It seems like a nice area, I guess it's just a bit older than some of the more popular area's like Formosa Gardens and Emerald Island. I'm just starting the research again too as I'm looking for a condo this time for later this spring.

I've stayed there for the last 2 yrs and loved the location. They are constantly building there so I wouldn't say that all the homes are older. It's right across the street from Formosa Gardens. I would recommend the area.

Thanks for the replies. As this is the 1st time we are going self catering. Is there easy access to supermarkets (I mean Walmart etc). Also, anyone know how far it would be from disney and universal? It appears near on the map, just wondered travelling time in the car.

Hello...

Indian Creek is on Old Lake Wilson Road...distance to Disney is about 3 miles or 10 minutes to the parking lots..it is definately one of the closer homes to Disney.


Shopping will be fairly close...Walmart will be about 5 miles on 192 west and then about a mile north on hwy 27.

there are closer grocery stores like Publix that is about 2 miles west on 192... a little more expensive but closer and handier.


Remember, these are neighborhoods, not hotels, so you will need a car to get to everything...walking is not an option and there are no shuttles.

Homes are a wonderful place to stay...Enjoy
