Indian Creek?

Have been trawling the website and have had quite a few responses and at the moment for price and closeness to WDW Indian Creek is coming out on top!
Has anyone stayed there and what's it like?
Any feedback would be really appreciated.

We stayed in a 3 bed villa on Indian Creek in Oct 06.

Great location. You can get to the Animal Kingdom in 10 minutes (use Sherbeth intersection to cut through onto the Disney road system)

You are also very close to restaurants, Outback, Red Lobster, etc, Supermarkets - Publix 2 nearby, Walgreens.

We also stayed at Rolling Hills a couple of years back, which is the other side of Indian Creek, and in my view just as good a location as Indian Creek.

We are giving Florida a miss this year, but when we go back we will definately stay in either Indian Creek or Rolling Hills.

Indian Creek is certainly one of the closest communities to WDW and is less expensive than many of the others in that vicinity. The homes there aren't as upscale as those on the likes of Formosa Gardens, Emerald Island, Acadia Estates, Windsor Palms and Windsor Hills, but it's fairly new (I think building probably started around 2000).

The only thing I would mention is the new road going through the area, some of the villas would back-onto the new road.
It wasn't fully open last October, and I am unsure how much traffic is using it now. Perhaps someboby has been recently and can advise.

We saw the road under construction when we stayed at windsor palms a year last october, may get some traffic but hey we'll turn the radio up!

Another question, has anyone booked privately with the owner?

The home we're looking at is owned in the UK and won't accept credit cards, always feel safer when paying with a card, what protection is there paying 'cash'?
