India Coming to Epcot

Just saw on twitter that India is coming to Epcot. Is this old news? Or, was it just announced? How many empty spots are there?

Yesterday, a blogger wrote an entry called "Epcot Announces India," based on the premise, "What would it be like if WDW management had decided they liked India?" There's a fictional announcement from Meg Crofton, President of the Walt Disney World Resort.

I'm not a Twiiter follower, but I assume that somebody read the blog entry and thought it was real news.

Africa was announced as coming at the opening...didn't happen. I don't know if Russia ever got announced, but I believe it was pretty close and didn't happen...so even if they announce it, I'll wait until it actually opens

India at least could have a draw food wise. I can always eat a curry...

Very nice.

It would be a castle on one side and an abandoned fire house on the other.

Counter service would sell fresh pears, and pizza with messages spelled out in M&Ms.

I like it.

Maybe they can put in Monaco! They could have a Casino and Disney could make money from that! I'm sure Disney could figure out how to get it legalized.
