Good afternoon,

Our family will be flying Independence air out of Manchester NH and stopping @ Dulles, then on to MCO. My question is: We only have a layover of less than 1 hour @ Dulles. Do we need to pick up our bags and then recheck them onto the next plane or will the airline do it for us?
As you can most likely tell, we are not frequent flyers by any means! :scared1:
Alos does anyone know how close Alamo's counter is to the Independence Air terminal? :confused3
Thanks so much!

Your bags will automatically transfer if the connection is still with Independence Air.

The only time that you will need to move your own bags is if you have gate checked them. You are most likely flying on a CRJ from Manchester and the cabin space can be limited. If you gate check a bag, it will appear on a cart next to the plane very shortly after landing and then you will need to carry it into the terminal and to the next plane (which should be a A319)
