Has anyone flown Indepenence Air (ifly) from Dulles to Orlando? I live close to Bangor, ME I have flown from Portland ME to Dulles, DC several times and have had great luck. Usually a two seats on either side of aisle type plane.....small, but works for me.
Going on a trip to WDW in October and wondering what their flights/planes/meeting flight schedules are like from DC to Orlando. It would mean changing planes in DC, but I have been happy with them so far.

We are a party of 3 adults, 5, 7 and 8 year old and 14 month old. My next choice in driving to Manchester, NH and flying direct using SWA. I have done that several times, but not with any kids.....
I would appreciate any feedback. Thank you.

I believe the non stop planes on Independence from Dulles to Orlando are all brand new Airbus 319 which is a larger jet. I really wanted to try them out for our late July/August trip but the flights I wanted had already jumped to too high a cost and I would up booking on Delta through Atlanta. If I can get another trip squeezed out befor then I will definitely look at them first.

I booked them too for my next trip. From Dulles to MCO, so will be the Airbus all of the way. With a rate of $116 non-stop for my spring trip, I couldn't resist. I've only heard good things so far. I just hope they stick around, because there has been lots of news about them cutting flights, but they don't plan to cut flights to FL.

We are flying Independence IAD/MCO in April, but have never used them before so we can't help with specifics from here to Orlando. I'll post our experience here after our trip, though...maybe that will help?

Our airfare on Independence was *the best*! We had just started seriously looking within the past week, so all the low Southwest fares were gone for our travel times/dates. On our trip down we connect through Greensboro[who knew...] - the total airfare(IAD/MCO) was $49!!! Coming back we have a direct/non-stop for $99. I was a little concerned about our Greensboro connection time of 30 minutes & called Independence...turns out that they only use one gate at Greensboro - and it's a fairly small airport anyway, not like O'Hare((shudder)) or Atlanta...

Oh, and by the way, when you buy your tickets they show the airplane seating configuration/available seating when you pick out your seats. From IAD/MCO, since we connect through Greensboro, the plane is one of those 2x2s. Coming back, MCO/IAD, the plane is a 3x3 configuration.

Woooooohooooooo, we're goin' to DisneyWorld :rotfl: ,
agnes!

We have flown Independance Air but not to Oralndo (yet). The $119 RT in June was too good to pass up.

We loved the flights we took last fall - the airline was well run and efficient (Hint - Don't be late - They close the plabe and go). My only disappointment is that they stopped flying into Dayton.

I did Independence from Bos to MCO in NOVember, just before the A319's were flying (CRJ's the whole way can get to you, but the service from the FA made up for it). They were a good airline and at that time I had $99 RT. Our problem was is was a really foggy night with a lot of delay's and we had to wait for our IDA -MCO plane to arrive. Now that they are flying the airbuses, I would imagine that those waits are minimal now.
