Incredibles Dance Party

It's my understanding that the characters are not out the entire time. How exactly does the timing work? Do they stagger themselves or for part of each hour are none of them out?

I know DS would love to do this, but I'm not looking to commit more than 15-20 minutes to it since we are on a (too short) two day trip. I have Buzz FP for one evening, so I was thinking we could stop over before or after.

We popped in to dance for about 15 min and Frozone and Mr. I were there dancing - then we left to eat I'm assuming they keep switching out?

They usually switch out the characters pretty frequently. They'll say good-bye to go "save the day," then a few minutes later they'll come back out. Just like the meet and greets for other costumed characters. 15-20 minutes should be more than enough time.

It's usually Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, and Frozone who are out.

Is this a new standing event? Where? Assume it's listed in the Times Guide...? Is it typical dance party protocol (as I've experienced it anyway)--characters won't really let you get in position for a pic? Our first dance party was at a PPP, and pirate Goofy really hammed it up and let me get good pics with him and DD, but ever since, it seems like they try to keep moving around and avoiding that. Well, with the exception of the Diamond Horseshoe during a parade when my kids were the only two in there--they were just happy to have "customers!" LOL. Is it just me, or do they really try to do that now? My kids love the dance parties; it would be great to dance with the Incredibles!

Was there first week of Feb and really enjoyed this. It's set up like during the MNSSHP except it was much less crowded. Yes, they exchanged them out like Meet & Greets. The characters (Mr, Mrs and Frozone) were great about interacting with crowd. Frozone even left dance area to approach a girl standing way off with and took a picture. The DJ, who we've seen before, does a great job. Colors were neon fun and we stayed around much longer than I would have thought. I would love to see more dance parties in all the parks.
