Incredible Hulkk Costume for DS7 - need help please...

DS7 is being the Incredible hulk for Halloween. I got a green shirt for his top - he's wearing his football pads (shoulder and hip/legs) under his clothes to "bulk up" and now I need to figure out what to get for his pants ~ whatever I get/use I will be shredding with a razor or scissor so I don't wanna spend alot for something I'm destroying but I also hate buying the itchy premade costumes. I like the ones I've put together better and I think there more original if you KWIM. If you look at pictures of the hulk or the premade costumes his pants are bright purple but I never remember him wearing purple pants on the show when we watched growing up. Should I try to find a deeper purple, go with his olivy green pants he already has, a navy blue he's already got??? What would you get/do?

I would go with some kind of cheap sweat pants and cut off the bottom cuff and cut tears into the bottoms. The official comic book color is purple - which might be a problem to find. You could go with navy in a pinch. You can rationalize that it's the shreds of whatever clothes Bruce Banner was wearing when he got angry!

Try Kmart or Walmart, they usually have many colors of sweatpants in the girls/womens department.
