I know I'm not the only one frustrated by this. But I'm really getting tired of asking a question via chat and getting one answer. Then when I go to do the thing, getting told "oh, we can't do that". I booked a room for the MM in HS. Before I booked I asked if Id be able to modify that reservation to use points in holding when it got within 60 days. They said absolutely, just do a chat or give us a call. Go to do that today and get told "nope" but we can try to make a new reservation. Which of course wouldn't work bc rooms had to be booked last month to be eligible. ugh.
