Incorrect DME info

Hi All-

My niece received her DME info and was surprised to see that although the flight numbers were correct the name of the airline was not. Also there were no arrival or departure times listed. The luggage tags did have the correct resort listed, so here's the question: If she just takes a carry-on does any of this matter?

No. It wouldn't even matter if she checks luggage. The DME people don't go to specific planes to pull luggage; they pull all the DME-tagged luggage from all flights. They have the dates, right? I'm reasonably certain (but not positive) that flight numbers aren't duplicated among airlines.

On my last trip using DME the airline was correct but there were no times listed. I got my luggage in the resort without any problems.

Ours had the wrong airline listed w/no times. I just called the toll-free number listed on the documents and they corrected the info. I don't know if they have any kind of list for pickup, but if they do I wanted to be on it!

DME does not use times (too many flight delays, changes, etc.) . They are only interested in flight # and airline, and as stated above luggage with the yellow luggage tags are removed and put aside for DME.

However, I would call DME to ease your mind or make the correction of the incorrect information. There's nothing worse than being worried about something. Especially if you can fix it before you go.
