What's wrong with this information?

My friend and I called Disney reservations to book for the same time period using the Visa code.

She is paying for a 10 year old and a 4 year old. Plus herself and husband.

I am paying for myself, husband, and a 4 year old. Son is an infant.

For the same dates, hotel, ticket add-ons, etc. I was quoted $1567. She was quoted $1300, and she's paying for an additional person! Other than her additional child, all the factors in the reservation were the same. The CM specifically said that the rates would stay the same with the code, so rate changes could not be a factor.

Also, I asked the CM to quote me for the same length of stay with the free dining at WL. We are already booked for WL in December. The WL during the free dining period, with the code, was $400 more than what we're paying in December, and we're paying for the same dining plan.

What's going on? Is there a rate increase somewhere? Is Aug/Sept considered peak season?

:confused3

I can help with this but you would have to give me your dates, what add-on's you had and resort choice.

Is one of you paying for a preferred room location. Does one of you have trip insurance.

Sept. 5 through 10, All Star Movies, 5 Day tickets with park hopper.

I asked for insurance, she didn't, but that was $65 per adult.

I would call back if I were you both. I get ( usually my figures are within $10 of Disney)
$463.30 Movies standard with 13%tax x 5nights
$792.36 5 day ph tix, 2 adult and 1 child
$130 2 adult travel insurance

$1385.66

Now be sure to check what ticket you are getting because I get

$1569.93 = $469.30, $130, $976.63 hopper tix with waterpark 2 adult/1child.
$1577.36 =$469.30, $130. $984.06 hopper tix with no expire.

I think this explains your extra money spent. Check into it :thumbsup2 Please let me know!

I also get

$463.30 room 5 nights ASM (tax13%)
$847.24 2adult/2child 5 day tickets (no hopping, no waterpark)

$1310.54 or so !!
