I am just sick to my stomach, just finished my taxes and for the first time ever we owe! Everyone told me once you buy a house you will see a big differenece come income tax time.....well I sure did, but it was in the wrong direction!

Yup! I just don't get it, we have NEVER paid in our lives. I understand why we have to pay the State Tax as they never took any state taxes out of DH's retirement check, just can't figure out why we are paying on the Federal return. UGH!
