Inching My Way Closer to the Castle Final thoughts/future trips 4/2p90 The End 4/4p92

yay for the front row and a shot of the yeti's shadow, that's so cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Front row on EE!!! You are so brave! :worship: I love that ride, but I did discover I can't go on twice in a row.....major headache!!! :sad2: The Yeti doesn't make a very long appearance. I always thought it should be longer too!

One ride down, let's do it again! Maybe I'll get some different angles this time.

They have a cast of DH's footprint, how'd they get that? :lmao:

More rules..
9-10_WDW_203.jpg

...ok, good rules.

9-10_WDW_202.jpg

Still up front and this time with no wait!

I was looking for different angles this time.
Here I am looking behind me over my left shoulder as we went up the big hill.

I will refer to this as the curly-Q later.

Here is behind to the right...

Hanging out up here again :rolleyes1

Before we fly backwards and see this!

In real life this picture sucked and I was going scrap it but I did something to it and VIOLA! Not too shabby.

9-10_WDW_169.jpg

AAAGHHHHH!
After we flew down that hill I turned and snapped this while going through that curly-Q I mentioned earlier.

Again, no clue how I got this moving as we were.

WHEW! Made it through Everest twice so now it's time to meander back to the Safari. Snapping pics all along the way.

Great pics -- twice -- on EE, Jen. I miss most of that because my eyes are always closed on most of the ride. :rotfl::rotfl:

Awesome job Jen! They turned out really good. I think probably better than Denny's did last year. I think you got more parts of the track then he did. Thanks for posting them tonight and I will give individual replies tomorrow. I will note that we had to wait for about 4 or 5 couples to ride front row before we got it on the first ride. But second ride we basically walked onto the front row. We got in the front row queue and there was no one there. Now that's some mojo! :thumbsup2

Denny's last year.....Clearly it was cloudier......

Beautiful pictures of AK ladies :thumbsup2 I think AK is the most fun to photograph. So many amazing details :)

You two are updating machines.

Though I'm not thrilled my my early morning panic attack with the virtual rides on EE. :scared1::scared1: :lmao:

Holy crapadelic! I don't know how in the world you two took such fantastic pictures on Expedition Everest. I am always holding on for dear life and taking pictures is last thing on my wee little mind.

I love EE! It and TOT are my two favorite rides at WDW. I can't think of a better way to start a morning than riding EE twice in the front row.

Even better when there is no wait! I think there was only 2-3 people in front of us the first time around. The font definitely has the best view, but I like the back for the RIDE!

You only get a second for the shadow shot so there's not enough time to try different settings; you shoot from the hip instead!

Remember when I said I could sleep anywhere, under any circumstance? Yeah, I could ride that over and over and over... day and night, no problem! Not only did the Yeti make a short appearance, it's a dark appearance. Maybe there's a light bulb out?

Well there ya go! Now you know what you've been missing! Put a fan on your face and scream as you flip through them and it's like you're there!

A few them were easy shots, a few were luck shots, and I was too busy taking pics to worry about holding on for dear life!

I can think of several ways just as good: riding Space Mtn, BTMRR, Splash Mtn, Soarin', TT, ToT, RNR....

Ladies, these pictures are gorgeous! This makes me so stinkin' mad that I can't get on the DIS at school anymore.
I'd love to show these photos to my students....

I think this may be the only comment Jen missed. Shout out to Jen - thanks so much for doing the replies. I had a Halloween parade tonight. Yup - that's right - a hometown Halloween parade. It was a really long parade route and now I have a blister and I'm beat. So thanks Jen cause I'm too tired to do anything else right now.

Wigd - I think that's a great excuse for getting web access at work - "but the students, they have to be able to SEE the internet - its a learning opportunity". Poor kids, deprived of Disney pics.

I would be upset if I couldn't dis at work anymore. Not like I ever do! :rolleyes1

Pretty please, Jen????????:goodvibes:goodvibes

MaryEllen, have fun at soccer.

I think Jen really came through with the EE pics, don't you?

I love the rays of light photos, very very cool!
I do too, because what are the chances of us ever seeing that again, let alone getting to photograph it. that was really an unexpected surprise.

Great EE ride pics! I've never been brave enough to get the camera out on that one - I'm always hanging on for dear life! :lmao:

Very, very cool pictures of my favorite AK thing to do. :thumbsup2 All very clear for moving so fast too, I might add!! I got front row too, and LOVED it!! You see so much more when you're up there!

Ok- I am all caught up! What AMAZING photos you both take!! I loved the Wishes ones, and the EE ones- and you both went all out on your AK pics! :worship::worship: Love the refecting in the water ones- so blue and still!!

Jen, I am so sorry about your dog- we have a golden retriever named Summer who we love to pieces- can't imagine life without her now.

ALso glad you liked the Wave- I have never been, and Kevin on the podcast just gave it a pretty awful review, so I am glad to hear from you both that you liked it that much. I was hoping to go next May, but now we are staying at the BWV instead of BLT (I KNEW we were going to get screwed by that 2 day closure/enhancement!!). But we scored BW View, and we were all so happy with that that I canceled the WL for BLT the same day. :thumbsup2 So we may save The Wave for another time.

Ok...so...on with the show!

Great EE pictures!!!! I love being in the front row on that ride and on RnRC! :cool1:

EE is on of my favorite rides.....Love the front :thumbsup2
Hang time.....just ask MEK about my hang time on that hill

Love all of your special effects. You aren't going to make us start wearing 3D glasses next are you? :rotfl2:

Tracy

Love the EE pics cause that is the closest I will ever get to that ride :scared1: Love the earlier AK pics.
