Ok so sign-ups are this time next week and since these are new to the majority of you i want your feedback on what you would like to do. Theme's group size Etc.....
2,4,or 6 inchies per person? I'm leaning towards 2 to keep it simple
I'm gonna go for 4 or 5 people per group MAX
and 2 MOO's MAX per person. MOO's groups will be 4 people

Explanation of what is to be made:
Inchies: 1X1 square embellished or decorated anyways you want . Must be on at least chipboard or mat board.
*I'm not putting any expectations or limits on how much or how little you embellish It's a 1 inch square there is only so much a person can do.*
MOO's
1 inch wide by 3 inches tall rectangle Embellished. Must be on at least chipboard or mat board.
Same embellishment expectations for the Inchies go for the Moo's as well.

F.Flowers
G.Vintage
H.Animals
I. Fantasy
J. Vacation/Really anything that says vacation to you. (no go-go songs though ok....)
K. Birthday
L. Anything goes

These same groups will go for MOO's as well.

Please give me feedback this is my first time hostessing.Be Kind :scared:

note to self:
Disney General
vintage
anything goes
flowers

Good luck!!! I'll be the cheerleader...
I'm hanging out because of numerous things here at home (fun things).... and we are headed to the world in 2010 so I'm saving all my fun money for disney!!!

Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!

I am interested in this one. I like your groups. A,B,C,D,F,H are the most appealing to me.

Questions:
1. How do you cut the mat board? My dad has a special cutter to make frames, but I'd rather not have to track him down to get him to cut me some.

2. I know ACM sells mat board but I never really looked at it. DOes in come in all colors?

3. WHen is this due?

Thanks!

If you have the guillotine type of paper cutter, it cuts the chipboard or mat board just fine.

Thanks!

I hope this helps :)

Hmmm. This is very interesting. What is the general cost for matboard? I was laid off last week so money is a big issue. I will probably have a new job fairly quickly but it will mean full time travel again so I will then have hotel time to do some fun things like this:)

I have only slider cutters. Making memories one and then the cheap fiskars ones. Is there anywhere to order them cheaply? I have so much damn paper I wouldn't need to buy any and have some good ideas :)

Chipboard!!! Love it!!! I get mine for free from my local Joann's I'll send you some blanks if you want????
I also use manilla (sp) folders I cut them up they just toss the used ones at work so I take them and recycle them for crafts :thumbsup2

I want to play!!! These will be a good thing to take on vacation with me to work on. I don't know if anyone would be interested, but if they are, could we add an animal group for inchies?

I just bought a box of ATC cards from yhe person you and Michi suggested.
Can I cut those for these?
ATC, no stickers. But stickers are ok on these?
How many do you make pp?
This sounds interesting but not quite sure but I will probably end up playing.:)

More questions!

1. I make 2 inchies that are exactly the same per person, or the two inchies can be different?

2. Does each set have to be exactly the same? I am sure I have plenty of partial sets of jolees, brads, bling, paper etc. So the set I make for AWM may be different from the set that you get, but both sets would be
in theme.

3. Will metal embellishments go through the mat board?

4. I like the idea of an animal group too.

5. For your groups, Disney general, disney -girlish -- when we sign up do we pick a specific theme, like TinkerBell?

More questions!

1. I make 2 inchies that are exactly the same per person, or the two inchies can be different? That part is up to you I would make each one in the set different but all the sets can be the same or different (does that make sence?)

2. Does each set have to be exactly the same? I am sure I have plenty of partial sets of jolees, brads, bling, paper etc. So the set I make for AWM may be different from the set that you get, but both sets would be
in theme. That's fine

3. Will metal embellishments go through the mat board? Yes if you use your crop a dile

4. I like the idea of an animal group too. I will add that

5. For your groups, Disney general, disney -girlish -- when we sign up do we pick a specific theme, like TinkerBell? Yes

Like when I do a boy disney group I have all different jolee's everyone is gonna get someone different it's like a surprise or grab bag

So 3-D or embossed stickers are okay, but flat should be a no-no?

Does one use this in their scrapbook or does it have another purpose?

I've seen them used as accents on the page, or placed on large tags and then placed on the page. I don't think they are "collectible" like ATCs - although I might be wrong.

For some inspiration, I like to look at this blog - http://kopperhead100.blogspot.com/ - she hosts swaps of themed ATCS, inchies, twinchies, and such. There are some really creative people on there.

Girl, I am trying to save money, and haven't signed up for any new swaps - but I will sign up for yours. :goodvibes The good thing about the smaller canvas, I can use what I have, so I don't have to buy anything!!!

Although can we have more non-Disney themed groups - like holidays, birthdays, fantasy, vacation, etc? Just trying to think about all the stamps that I have and never use!!!

I always said I wouldn't do inchies, but I find them to be super cute & great embellies for pages.
I will for sure do the Flowers & Anything Goes groups...I wish we could have done the two swaps together. But I think it would have been complicated since they have to mail them to two seperate addys.
I'm so glad we became friends!:flower3:
