Incentives for DVC Tours 2020? Doing a tour anyways

We plan to do a tour of Riviera, and heard from someone we mentioned this to that DVC gives giftcards and/or Fastpasses if we do? Is this still true? Thanks!

They generally give giftcards of $25 - $75 per person which can be dependant on where you're staying. They also give 3 fastpasses for the less in demand rides.

Early January 2020, gift card for $75.00 was given, we were staying at the Contemporary CL. I am a DVC member, my son, who is not a member was given the gift card after his tour of the mock rooms at SSR. Also, very nice ice cream parlor at end of tour.

Thank you! We are very interested. We're thinking of purchasing in a couple of years as a wedding gift to ourselves. But we don't know when we'll be back out to WDW as we are West Coasters and so we want to the research now

A former member friend & I were talking to a guide (?) in the Epcot Lounge and he offered my friend a $75 gift card and each of us 4 fastpasses for the tour. We were free for the afternoon, so we had them pick us up at Beach Club and go over to see the rooms. We sat down with the guide, he explained pricing to my friend. He asked me if I was interested in more points, I told him only if he could get me VGC for the $188 price (ha, ha).

Thanks for the info, is the gift card per person, per adult, per family etc? We’re members and got an email, we’re also staying in a grand villa at AKV with a non member family who is interested in DVC, figured I should understand the best way to arrange all this.

They give the gift cards to adults who are not already members. This is up to $75 per person, so we got $150 as a couple. Any others who attend with them get the fastpasses. Everyone gets ice cream. They tend to have fun things to keep children occupied during the tour, but we don't have any so I can't give much info about that.
