Yay that was fabulous, I'm still watching the channel to see everything. I want to remember this day.

He gave a pretty good speech, although I'm no expert, I thought he was a great speaker.

His girls looked adorable, too.

He is an amazing public speaker, and that speech was OMG SOOO GOOD.

I watched it in my campus's student center, and I knew many people who are actually there in DC today.
My favorite part was the cheers that rang through our building when he mentioned Gettysburg. yayy.
I loved the Washington quote as well. AMAZING.
I am PROUD to be an American.

It was lunch/French (it started during lunch hour, and ran into m French class) but we did not watch it then.
In art after some of the traffic was slowing down on the internet we watched it.
Beautiful speaker, his voice is strong, proud and confident, I love listening to him. I could listen to him all day.

We watched the CNN/FOX coverage in my 3rd, 5th, 6th, and 7th hours today.

So today im sitting in my gym uniform in the music room watching Obama give his speech.
I felt so amazed & excited i can even explain it.
I cant help but keep thinking that those memories from today, watching bits & peices of the ceromony, will be memories i will have for the rest of my life.

SADLY though, some people couldnt take it seriously D:

A special needs kid kept *ehm* passing gass & none of the immature boys could keep themselves together enough to stop laughing. D:<

I watched the Inauguration in my 4th hour today.

IT was on in the pub on campus today.
THey had it on a aaaaall the TVs and even brought in a big screen AND had it projecting onto a wall to watch, they had chairs all set up and everything.
I watched from about 11 on.
And by 12 the place was PACKED FULL of people.
I live in Canada, but you should've seen the place, no one could hide their smiles. When he was sworn in everyone broke out into applause and during his speech the WHOLE place was dead quiet.

It was quite an amazing expirience.
Like I said, I live in Canada, but even though he's not OUR president, it's a big step for North America as a whole, I think.

Yep, it was Illuminations. ABC also played it during the 2000 and 2004 elections.

I thought the entire thing was great. I'm very excited now that he's officially president. I'm hoping that something good will come of his being elected.

However, I did laugh really hard at the Pastor who gave the prayer when he was talking about Obama's kids. "Meleia and Sassshhhaaa". He drew out Sasha into such a way that it was almost something out of a bad comedy movie.

And I caught John Roberts' slip up on the oath. And so did Obama. I thought that was hilarious.

Haha I also noticed he said Malia and Sasha's names funny.

And John Roberts did mess up the oath. They said John Roberts told Obama at the luncheon that it was his fault.

Did anyone watch on abc? in the opening part did u hear the illuminations song!!! the one before the big finale?? My mom and I flipped when we heard it.

I skipped lunch to watch him speak the first half.

We watched it in every class except last, but I only missed some of the parade at that time, I'm watching the parade now.

The judge messed it up.

Oh well...it was the first time doing the oath for BOTH of them. It's not a big deal. How many important speeches did Bush mess up?! (I like Bush but come on...)
