Mjasp: Thanks for the offer, but I think I'll have to pass this time

Since DW doesn't know where we're going, I decided to get the Disney transfers from the airport to the port and back - that'll give her time to get acquainted with the idea and a chance for me to explain things on the way down there. I thought about either renting a car or flying directly to Melbourne, but I wanted to share in her excitement and wanted to put her off-track by flying into Orlando.

Anyway, I'll try checking with Guest Services and see if the DCL counter will hold our bags for a few hours.

So we are all obsessed, and are on these boards all the time.

Well, as the saying goes: The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. My 10 yr old DD is just as bad as us, with the posting and reading the boards. I just got home from Hallmark and they had a journal called "Trips are Fun" "A Travel Journal for Kids" So It was half price and I picked it up for her. Needless to say I'm on the computer and she is starting to fill in her new Travel journal. Think I'm a hero tonight in this house.

16 more days, I think I said that before, Can't wait!!!!!

On board? Hi! Where did you get the way cool shirts Man these are so great. I am practicing the "company line" on these? We are temps? They are all different? What else?

CMATT Flyers are going nowhere More primadonnas. We need to get rid of Clark and his bonehead moves "Oates" being the latest, keeping DesJardiens the second etc etc etc......have to root for the Blues I guess

Jim: I have the workbooks, the projector, and the big screen. you have the laser pointer for class? Gonna teach us all how to post a trip report. My vote would be for a conglamorate or collage of stuff? No homework on this cruise!

Question for the day? Should we have a nice quiet time once on board after the welcome aboard lunch and ressie scramble?

Hey I'm really glad to hear that the shirts are arriving. Hygiene99 - Peter yours is also in the mail.

GaRry had to make another horse run, this time to Iowa. He was disappointed he could not figure out how to do the scenic route through Orlando. Needed to get the horse back quickly, as he is going to the show next week.

Sounds like everyone has all of their excursions figured out now, which is the best snorkling spot in GC? Garry might be one dive short of certification, so we will just do snorkling this trip.
I really think Joe should have rented a tour bus and just taken all of us on an Island tour since he is the resident expert on all there is to see and do in these Ports of call. Maybe next cruise ok?

We'll be hangin at the Orlando Airport Hyatt the day before cruisin. We decided to just hang by the pool and relax if we can.

The excitement is building by the minute. The DS is my own personal cruise coundown timer. What a hoot!!!

Is there any place close to the pier to buy beer and wine in Key West? We can't get it on the way to the port cause we're takin Disney transportation. Had the great idea to pick it up the next day in Key West. Good idea? or no?

Everyone, don't forget your sunglasses or you'll surely go blind lookin at all these shirts!!!!!!

Jim-thanks for the Coz shopping tips. They will come in handy indeed.

Off to bed, only 11 more working days til we fly off to sunny Florida. WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Will be sending the Boones Farm down to the rad via postman. Do not have the chance to carry it on board with the bags of shoes we will be bringing

Still have to plan a Retirement party for Joanne find a place for the puppies, a nest for the birds....how many days left

Oh well we will be back before you know it so I can do it later

OK OK OK now while we are waiting on a countdown timer for the cruise has anyone started working on a device that actually works on slowing down the time? Ya'll know one of those things that makes a minute go by as fast as an hour? Would anticipate some nice profits on this one eh Jim? May take a little longer to work on this one

EVERYONE: Is there anyone out there that knows UMFanatic? I have Alex but not DW, DD, DS names.

EVERYONE AGAIN: I know we will be meeting up on Deck 10 for the sail away sleep/nap but do we have a specific time set aside to overtake the deck? The overlook...would that be Port or Starboard? (left/right) more toward Aft or more towards the Bow (front/back)? The shirts may work identifying us?? I can't wait till someone asks about them

J&J: Did you want to move time slower or faster? I think I need to speed it up until May 11, then slowwwwww it down . All I need to do is have the Countdown Timer subtract 10 seconds for every actual second to speed up time. This'll work, won't it? Reality is based on the Countdown Timer, right? At least is was for me over the past week!

wdwgoose: If you have any of those shirts left over before the trip, let me know and I'll buy a couple of them from you onboard. Since DW doesn't know anything about the trip I wouldn't want to clue her in beforehand!

The countdown is on! I've emailed DCL AGAIN to request info on the dinner theme schedule. I'll post whatever (if any) answer I get.

We are in the same looonnnnggg boat w/ our flight leaving at like 4-5pm on the 18th. I just finished making a reservation for a 'day rate' at the Hyatt Orlando Airport for $60. They'll let you check in at 10am, use the room until 6pm. So I figure we'll let the kids swim, watch tv, and nap before our flight home. MUCH better than hanging out in the terminal.

Hey Joe, did you happen to come up w/ specific info on Cozumel car rentals by chance? I don't remember and don't really want to reread all of our novella! What I'm specifically interested in is insurance: what to get, what MUST get, etc. I know we're NOT covered by our normal outside of the states and would *hate* to get thrown into the mexican slammer....

Garry... But you're excused, cause you are a firefighter. I know in NY our firefighters work 24 hour shifts for 3-4 days. Same there? Are they extending free cruises to firefighters? In NY if you helped with 9/11 you could go to Disney World VERY discounted, might have even been for free, I know a few PO and FF who just came back.

So my Dining room now looks like one large suitcase, with the clothes and shoes on the outside.
