Just requested to join FB. Don't what to sound stupid but hope this is correct.
Not sure what Jon is planning but this might be a good place to get our lanyards. People have said that because the terminal will be so crowded it might not be a good place to distribute them.
We will be in full regalia! In January I just brought our hats and I wished later we had our full costumes.
It is a hassle to pack; DH isn't too thrilled, but I am, so he goes along. The first time he wore everything he wouldn't leave the stateroom without his sunglasses on.
(I guess he felt he could hide behind them?
). He is not shy anymore and he did get a kick out of being "dressed".
We brought a pirate flag and draped it around our table this last trip. I borrowed it from some friends. This could be a good alternative to dressing for some as it was super easy to bring and the ship provides bandanas.
All in all it seems everyone has a good Arrrrrghtime no matter what they wear.
I don't have a clue as to the percentage of passengers that will dress up.But I think there will be a good amount.
Maybe people didn't have room in their suitcases on the Holiday cruise? I know I bring a lot more clothes for the holiday.
Hello Ladies & Gents,
Can you help me out so that I can be sure I have everything on our cruise agenda correctly?
Thus far, I have the following scheduled activities:
Day 1 (Sat 3/31) - Embark Disboard Meet @ 3pm, deck 14 (Includes lanyard distribution)
Day 2 (Sun 4/1) - At Sea Day Pink Champagne Girls Meet in afternoon. Time & location: TBD
Day 3 (Mon 4/2) - Grand Cayman Island (Captain Marvin's snorkel group)
Day 4 (Tue 4/3) - Cozumel
Day 5 (Wed 4/4) - Costa Maya (Maya Chan beach group)
Day 6 (Thur 4/5) - At Sea, Easter Egg Hunt Time & location:
Day 7 (Fri 4/6) - Castaway Cay
Day 8 (Sat 4/7) - Disembark
Do I have this correct? Am I missing something?
I wasn't sure where to put Terrie's Mid Ship Detective Drinking Game.
Thanks mucho, Elizabeth
Hey there Elizabeth! There is also the Grass Skirt Fraternity meet on day 1 at 4:30 deck 12 starboard. I believe there is also a Coconut Bra Sorority meet but I am unclear if that is also part of the GSF or if it is separate
Vicki is hosting a BYOC informal (no tiaras, feather boas required) Pink Champagne Girls meet on day 6 around 4pm or so at her stateroom 10164.
I am waiting on feedback from the FB group on suggestions for day/time with regards to the Midship Muppets Detective Agency Drinking game![]()

And on Emabarkation Night, there will be a Nook & Crannie Explortation tour of the ship (time and place of meet to be determined at the DIS Meet at 3pm).
